Real men wear pig slippers
Dec. 30th, 2004 12:37 pmI love that Alton Brown has pig slippers. Or, at least, that they're a part of wardrobe at work. That thrills me to no end.
Ah, the coffee episode. The one that cemented my love of Alton Brown forever. I recorded it so that I can watch it again and again and again.
I also enjoyed the tea episode. I knew that he was going to dis bagged tea, though. I just knew it. *whines* But loose tea is such a pain to make, and I don't have all those cool toys he has, so it's damn near impossible for me to make it well without ending up with leaves in my teeth!
Tazo tea = no dust. Check. I shall use that as my excuse to buy Tazo bagged tea. Baby steps.
In real life news....
....I have no real life news. Just the same - teaching, students speaking (pretty well, in fact. That's one good thing about the minimester, I suppose), frantically getting my house ready for New Year's Eve.

Date: 2004-12-30 07:56 pm (UTC)Hey, maybe you would like this. I'm building a new grade book template. You've never mentioned problems with grading, so maybe your uni has an integrated system, but... wanna test it out?
