Margarett and Smallville and wassailing

Happy, happy, happy, happy, *multiply times infinity* birthday to Margarett!!!! She is 30 today! All who know her, call her and buy her things!
I swear that package is coming before the year's over....
And a few thoughts on I really love it when they do dream sequences. They seem to put extra effort into their lighting and camera angles and all that fun stuff. I loved the simplicity of Chloe coming into the blue light and it reflecting on her face.
Snippets: Great acting all around last night. The Lana/Jason drama annoyed me. Color me intrigued about his past/intentions/family/etc., however. Redeemed!Lionel = blech. And why is Lana wearing a porcupine on her finger?
Lex was right. The "bad guy" is the hero. Where else could they be taking us? I loved the "oh, the possiblities" look on his face when Clark offered himself as a test dummy.
Oh, and MR? Hot. Like a hot, hot thing.
I'm taking tonight off to go wassailing on the square. Every year, they take a night to light the community Christmas tree, all the shops have an open house with free booze and snacks, and Brave Combo plays. I gave the students a night off to panic before they present their group presentations next week so that I could go. I am an avid supporter of taking mental health days.
