The open house on Saturday was fun. We didn't have customers until 3:15, and not many after that either, but we had fun hanging out. Most of them have children and thought it was great to just spend a day being with adults. Everyone got at least one major order, so it wasn't a complete loss financially either. Maybe we do this in October next year, before the holiday schedules start getting hectic. I suppose this means we're officially in the holiday season. No! I have too much to do and not enough time to do it!

is it bad that my first thought on reading this is that I hope you let me know at least a month or so ahead of time so I can get that Sat off so I can come? :p

I will definitely let you know early. Part of the problem this year is that we didn't set a date until 4 weeks before the event.

heh--hard, too, when the weekend schedule is done a month or so in advance--hard to get off for those last minute invites!
