The WB is comprised of a bunch of attention whores. The previews for this week were misleading, as always.

*sigh* No Logan this week. What gives?

Wasn't it funny when Luke said...

"Sack of potatoes falls on your head - the insurance company doesn't care if you're the girlfriend."

"Go go get!" (I so wanted him to say something like "go, go, Gadget coffee pot!")

"If I don't strangle myself with the phone cord, I'll answer it."

"I am not powder fresh."

Marty's cute. But he's no Logan... *sighs*

Speaking of attention whores...One Tree Hill was pretty good last night. What did Mouth expect to accomplish by telling Brooke he lied to her? For someone who loves her, he doesn't very much attention to details...like her number one pet peeve. Not his brightest moment. I guess we do stupid things when we're sad.

Felix pisses me off. I can't quite put my finger on why. Pretty only covers so much, though.

I know that the show is a drama, but do they really have to make Nathan and Hailey a statistic?

I'm sure there's more...maybe I'll wander over to g's lj and comment there...*looks at watch* Ooh. Later. Must go to class.

Reader's Digest version -

On GG, Rory wants to get her grandparents back together, so she and Lorelei split up to "talk" to them. Emily Gilmore went on a date, but she was sobbing after she got home.

The brother-in-law's shower was broken, so he used Luke's (thus, the powder fresh hoopla).

Lorelei called Chrisopher because she hadn't heard from him; he acted strange because Rory had told him to stay away; they had lunch. Rory got mad. Christopher left. Lorelei very awkwardly told Luke about their little family lunch, and he made a point of telling her that it didn't bother him, but perhaps it did.

OTH - They had a prom (only they called it a formal...whatever...it was a prom). Brooke found out that Mouth and that pretty one lied to her about who did what for her...blah blah blah...so she's mad at both of them. Lucas drove her home and pretty boy saw him (this was after he "allowed" him to date his sister, with the understanding that he'd "be watching him" - can you feel my eyes rolling?). Peyton almost snorted coke again, but instead threw it and made a mess in the bathroom at home after someone spilled a drink on her mother's dress. Haley and Nathan fought because he found out that she had recorded a song with annoying singer boy.

Such drama.

Well, I started to type that TJ said that powder fresh line...but you are correct now that I think about it...heh that's a good one...almost as good as the one about the socks...LOL

Re: OTH....it really is too bad about Nate and Haley...but you know I've never really been invested in them anyway. I think I'm pissed at all the couples on this show since they killed me with that whole Deb/Keith thing...I just can't look at any of the couples the same...not even Lucas and Peyton...and I get the feeling they are supposed to be "the" couple....er maybe not.

Poor Mouth...yeah I was glad he owned up to the truth but wasn't very surprised about Brook's response.

As soon as he said it, I just knew that Luke would respond in kind, and I was not disappointed. That was my favorite Lukism of the week.
