Apr. 14th, 2004 06:11 pmDilemma. Don't you know that making plans for the weekend means that everything will happen that very same weekend? Bubbles and Raven are visiting, so we have some choices of what to do besides the general merriment that I've been stockpiling for.
My top three -
1. Ft. Worth Arts and Jazz Festival - fun, free (well, as long as you don't eat or drink or do anything but walk around and listen to music and look at the booths). Involves driving to Ft. Worth (35-40 minute drive, more if there's traffic).
2. Fundraiser in the park down the street for Make-A-Wish Foundation - $18 apiece - music, organized walking, really cool park.
3. 80's theme dance party to celebrate my friend Kim's 30th birthday - free (I think....pretty sure...I'll find out) and guaranteed to be loads of fun.
Help.
Keep in mind that I'm already dragging them to a play at El Centro, because it's extra credit for my students, and it might be nice if I could tell if they actually saw it or are just making shit up.
