It's my sister's birthday today! I got to eat lunch with her; it was awfully nice of her to cook for me on her birthday. At least I took her roses, right?

Not much else has happened today, except for the scary bird incident that just occurred. I think someone just shot a bird outside my office window - there was a loud bang and a squawking. Damn Texans with the itchy trigger fingers. Never mind that they're not supposed to have even toy guns on campus.

And I got a gift from lilmouse1073 (secret message to mouse - I'll call you tonight)!! Chocolate and jewelry. Doesn't get better than that.
