coffeesnob318*snickers* I was coming out of my apartment a few minutes ago. Well, it was warmer outside than I expected it to be, so I immediately took off the hoodie I was wearing. The maintenance guy going next door laughed - I didn't understand why until I looked down and realized that I am wearing my superman pj's, and I just busted out of the hoodie, like I was off to save the world or something.
Yea! My mom and dad are visiting Saturday. And there is promise of free food and birthday presents in the air. I guess they figure they'll knock out Tammy's birthday next week and mine next month in the same trip.
A few notes on my week in television...

And I'm thinking of adopting Lorelei's message - "I've got nothing cute to say for my machine...ooh! Puppies! There - that's cute. Now leave yours."

One Tree Hill = Damn emotional show. I was actually weeping - not just tearing up a little - weeping - when Hayley hugged Lucas at the end. I think I'm chemically imbalanced.

It's about time that they named an episode that aptly represents my feelings about Smallville.
Poor TW with the helmet hair. Why do they do it?
I liked Alicia a lot. She won me over with the "loser" look she gave Clark when he told that really bad joke waiting for the elevator. Such big, brown, pretty eyes. And I've got to pick up that teleportation talent. Think of the amount of money I'd save on airfare. Too bad she was crazy.
Suspicious...is it just me, or does it seem awfully convenient that Helmet Head's elevator malfunctioned in the Luthorcorp building? If you can't squeeze information out of his friends, bring the evidence to you? Of course, I don't know how the MB could have planned that, so maybe not...
Wow. Flirty!Clark = Really!Really!REALLY!Sexy!Clark. Even with bad hair. Is it possible for TW to NOT have chemistry with someone? I loved his clumsy moment on the porch. Cutey! And the scene where Bo Kent walked in on them - loved it!!
Mmm...Lex. Not quantity, but definitely quality. I love his low, gravelly, "tell me everything" voice. *purrs; rolls around like a cat on catnip* I loved his little advice session with Clark - "Are you saying I led her on?" - "I'm saying I've been there." Aw, Lex, it's ok to be jealous. *snickers*
Lately, seeing Lex and Lionel associated with each other makes me really nervous. I don't know if one researcher is big enough for the two of them.
Poor Adam. I'll miss Adam. He added such nice scenery. I'll especially miss his snarkiness with Lana. Who's going to tell her to stop whining now? I was actually starting to like her - with the exception of her "you spied on me first" logic to justify her own nosiness (jeez, if you're going to do something devious, at least be brave enough to own it completely) - and now her antagonist that brings out good Lana is gone.
I liked the scene where Alicia was trying to take Lana out, and, in trying to find out what Lana had that she didn't, she asked, "What's your secret, Lana?" Um...I don't try to kill his friends? OK, except for Chloe, that one time. And I seemingly threw Pete into a locker, but that wasn't really me. And I once threw a cup at Lex's head...I suppose that could have done some damage if I'd actually hit him....and...
OK - not part of the show, but I'm loving the "scenes from next week" clip with TW and his JBF hair and KK with the OOh! Tracers! look. Pretty.

OK. Totally hating puppets now. Not that I've ever been a huge fan, but wow. Scary child molester puppets.
I've never watched Angel before - I record it for Margat and Jeff, when they have a chance to come up and see it. I watched it this week because the previews of Spike with the puppet sparked my curiosity. I thought, surely, he wasn't wrestling with a puppet. And oh, yes - he was. That was hilarious. It was an especially nice touch to have Angel biting his arm. That's just good TV.
Heh, heh. Telling MonsterGirl "I was turned into a puppet last night." If I had a nickel for every time a guy said that to me....
Best line - "just look at the last few seasons of Happy Days." BWAHAHAH!!

And on the Clark issue... TW is a definate hottie.. but again, Lex is my love, and Clark is just my sweetie. But last night I *nearly* converted to Clarkism! I'm glad they threw in our Lex fix with that melting butter voice and strong blue eyes.. *melts*... otherwise stumbling, bumbling, charming Clark would have won.

Exactly. Lex doesn't need a lot of time to still be the sexiest Sexy to ever slink about the Smallville set. GUH
