Merry Christmas to me, bock and michelle
Dec. 19th, 2003 09:38 pmFirst things first - look at the nail bunny that I snagged from
couplandesque! I love nail bunny. Reminds me of Margat. Except our nail bunny never spoke. Maybe it's because we used pushpins for fear that the "beans" - it was a beanie bunny - would all fall out.
Tammy, Michelle, and I had our "Christmas" this evening. I hit the motherload. I got Burt's Bees cuticle stuff and lip balm, weird pens with lip gloss in the tip of them (anyone sense a theme?), a toothbrush, napkins and post it notes with coffee on them, bed head control freak serum *drools*, those chocolates with liquor in them...mmmm...chambord..., and ta da da da!!! Clay Aiken! OK, not Clay Aiken himself, but the CD. I've been so good, not buying it for myself, and there it was, all wrapped up. It may be shy among my other CD's. There's not a lot of Clay Aiken sort of music in my collection. That just makes him special, right? And I like his thank you list. Have I mentioned how much I just love that geeky little man?
Anyway, right now, Michelle and I are hopped up on too much coffee. There was just a drama in Tammy's room over some coffee on the IKEA bedspread, followed by a mad dash to the washing machine and lots of squealing. Never mind that Michelle is nursing third degree burns on her knee and arm from the tragedy (and let's face it - the real tragedy here is the wasted coffee) - the important thing was the comforter - for both of them (although I did hear the occasional yelp from Michelle about her injuries). I sat calmly at the computer and listened. Then, after all the squealing and "get it off! get it off!" Tammy said, "Oh, it's no big deal, I'll just turn it over if it's stained." Right. That's sooo not how she actually feels about that blasted comforter.
Oh, and Hope, Tammy and Michelle say, "Hi." Actually, they sing, "Hi, Hope. We say, Hi, Hope." And there was more about cheesecake, but then it trailed off.
And the greeting cards just keep coming! I got a card from
karyn5101969 and a cute ornament from
lilmouse1073 today. Thanks!

Is this really the kind of visual image I want half my brain to enjoy? .... I guess if I put up with that "bald" thing I'll get thru this, won't I?

*goes off, pondering how the bunny would look freshly shorn*
