Holiday minimester begins

Today was the first day of the minimester. Pretty painless. I like my students. They seem quasi-normal - no serial killers that I'm aware of. They couldn't quite accept that I am a Smallville fan, though. We'll have to work on that.

I added a speech so I get to give all my favorites as samples - my Crooked Little Man speech, my Martha Washington speech, my pimping the Equal Exchange coffee speech, and my Smallville speech. Hee!!! I've decided that, if I can't actually take a holiday, at least I can bend it to my will and have fun with it.

*trumpets sound* Ta da! I sent out Phase I of The Great Holiday Mailout. So if I have your address, you should expect a card soon. Phase II (aka, getting all that candy the hell out of my house) will commence later in the week. Some of you haven't left preferences for food-type items, though - if you would like to get something and you've not let me know what you would eat, let me know if you like chocolate, coconut, pecans, peanut butter and coffee, and I'll see what I can do. Offer open while supplies last. :)

*grin* I love everything but coffee .. (sorry, I am a tea person) and I love nuts, but can't have them because of the braces. Soooo ... all else is cool!!!

I'm sending the Martha Washingtons anyway. Just pick the pecans out of your braces. It's worth it. :)

woo-hoo!!!! mail! and one that doesnt' require sending back a check!!! I love getting mail that is actually for me instead of being bills or junk :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D And I like everything. well, except for beets and liver but those arent' on your list so I think I'm safe ;-)

now I feel guilty. while I have bought the cards and written down all the addresses on a piece of paper, I have yet to fill them out or mail them off. heh.

well - if you need to - i will take all teh martha washingtons off of your hands and the turtles - and some of the peanut butter balls (assuming that is what you have) and anything else you dont want - :)

Your box is coming. We didn't make turtles this year, but I'll send along a conglomeration of everything else.

I told Dad that he's in bad trouble if he doesn't make beef jerky and send you some. So maybe soon...they have your address, so it will probably come straight from them.
