That is my house. Empty of anyone but me. Mel slept over at the new apartment on Saturday, and she took the cats to their new home yesterday. Saturday night, I let them sleep with me. They were very cuddly. It's as if they knew.

I think I'm going to clean the living room tonight. That way Matt and Tammy can bring over the new couch at their leisure and I can start to move what's left of my furniture over. It also gives Mel one less room to worry about. I've already taken over the kitchen - my stuff is in! I forgot how many coffee mugs I have. I'm going to have to get a mug tree. Not get rid of mugs. I won't even discuss that as an option. Crazy talk.

On an unrelated and seemingly random note, I'm just not that fond of Jack Johnson. I understand the appeal - really, I do. I just don't usually share it.

I am ridiculously excited about the upcoming Chuck next week.

I have acquired a new bookshelf and placed all the books that I have borrowed from others or the library on it. There are a lot of books. I guess that's my reading list for the foreseeable future.

I do, however, love Bob Schneider. He's more interesting than Jack Johnson.

Also, I am harboring a serious girl crush on Ingrid Michaelson. I want to knit her a cape (don't ask) to see if she'd wear it onstage. I bet she would.

Pandora! Quit trying to play Jack Johnson on my Bob Schneider station. I reject it! Coldplay, however, I will tolerate. This one time. Just don't make it a habit.

Now that I've resorted to having a conversation with a website, I will bid you farewell. Yes. I think it's time. Have a lovely day, all.

I know! I brought some up to the desk for people to borrow as part of our "Go Green" initiative. But they are still in my realm of control. And I only brought the non-collection ones. I'm still going through some separation anxiety.

I have a mug tree because I ran out of room for mugs. It also helps me rotate so I use them all. My obsession with Starbucks city mugs makes me need a bigger kitchen.

I need a really big tree. I have about ten mugs that do not fit in the cabinet.

your mug tree sounds a lot like my 3rd book case.

Eep.

I have so many mugs. And people still give me mugs. And I like it. I opened up the cabinet when Mel was over for lunch and she said, "You have a sickness." Yeah.

Ivy told me I couldn't buy any more books until I donated some of them (exactly what I tell her about toys). But I reread all of my books so if I got rid of them I'd have to go out and buy the same ones again. It's a vicious cycle.
