coffeesnob3181. Natalie is being induced today at 1:30! *excited* Baby Megan (or, McG, as she will affectionately be known to me, ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
ravenluvslex, and magpie8386) will be here very, very soon! Carley is so cute and excited to be a big sister. Daisy the Dog - not so excited about having to stay outside more. At least it's been cool lately.
2. I heard back from the job that I applied for at the dorm in Gainesville. I had an interview on Wednesday, and they said that they would get back to me in a couple of days. Today is officially a couple of days. If I don't hear from her by noon, I'm going to call, because my department chair emailed me yesterday (which, by the way, is a whopping five days before classes start and a week after all the update training has already taken place, so I would already be behind) to see if I wanted to teach this semester, and if I don't get this full-time job, then yes, I very much want to teach this semester. Being able to pay all my bills is fun.
3. We actually get Labor Day off this year. It's about time. It also makes me even sadder that I cannot go to Dragon*Con, because that would be one less day that I would have to use my vacation time.
4. Tammy's wedding preparations are well underway. We have our dresses (we even found Mom's dress), and things are falling into place.
5. It has been so much cooler here with all the rain we've been having. It would be just fine with me if it continued to rain until October. I could definitely stand not to have any more Texas summer this year.
