French Toast Haiku

ravenluvslex made stuffed french toast last night. It was glorious. When I arrived at her casa, I had a bag with a sampling of four things in it -

1. French toast stuffed with strawberry jam and cream cheese;
2. French toast stuffed with brown sugar;
3. French toast stuffed with (this is the glorious part, get ready) pesto and mozzarella;
4. Bacon!

I am not a fan of french toast usually, because eggs and sweetness don't go together, but I enjoyed them all. The pesto/mozzarella savory one, though? Heaven. It was so good, it inspired this celebratory haiku:

Oh, french toast goodness
So amazingly tasty
I ate it all up
