Back to the grind
Jul. 16th, 2007 02:26 amI had a very relaxing weekend. Friday afternoon, we went to see Transformers. I...didn't love it. There were parts that were good, and it held my attention. But the cheese - oh my goodness - the cheese. Don't get me wrong - I am a big, big fan of cheese (both actual and cinematic), but this was a little much, even for me. It was very similar to the series, which I didn't much care for, either. So maybe I got what I expected. *shrugs*
Saturday, I got my tire fixed (for free! Yay!) and had key lime cheesecake (*drools*) with Bethany.
Sunday morning was our first meeting in the new building that we've been renovating. Josiah took his toy guitar and "played" with the worship team. Cutest thing ever.
Sunday afternoon, Michelle and I tried to eat everything in the house, or at least that's the way it would look to the casual observer. I guess it's ok to have one of those days every once in a while. Then Mel came over and put up our showerhead (yay!) and hung out for a while.
And now I'm at work. I haven't been here three hours and already I want a snack. What is going on with me?

But yeah. Totally go see Die Hard. Bruce Willis kicking ass = yay. In fact, I may do that this weekend.
