Itty bitty update

Tuesday - voted, even though my vote doesn't count for anything in Texas. But I started reading one of Barack Obama's books because I am in love with the way he speaks, and I wish I lived in Chicago just so I can have the privilege of voting for him. And although Texas is snug as a bug in its handbasket, at least there have been interesting changes federally. I look forward to seeing how much of a difference this Congress can make.
Wednesday - huge headache. Pounding. Just awful. Mel sent me home and told me she was getting coverage for me for Wednesday night. So I took the night off. It was glorious and very much needed. I feel somewhat refreshed. Still a dull throb of a headache, but at least my eyes are focusing, which is an improvement.
Smallville - just a few reactions.
Mionel. Blech.
I love Oliver so much. Not so happy with Junkie!Ollie shooting Lex. But it's unnerving how attractive I find that dark-circles-under-the-eyes thing. I'm choosing to think it's just because he's lovely.
I love who the boys are becoming. I can't think clearly enough right now to elaborate with the achy-ness and all, but suffice it to say that I'm really liking this season. Only one thing that I hope is temporary - Clark's so whiny I can hardly stand him. I'd like for him to grow out of that really soon. He showed a little promise at the end there. I would like to encourage the writers to go with that.
I knew Lana was going to be pregnant, but a part of me was hoping for brain tumor. The throbbing may be bringing out my mean streak.
Have I mentioned that I love Oliver? So very very much?
Oh, and Lex is the best.
