Look at me, abbreviating.
I've been at Tammy's most of the week, which means I've been without TV. And, actually, I don't really miss it. Except tonight, when I had to drive back over to my apartment and get my tape of this week's episodes of So You Think You Can Dance, because I just couldn't stand the suspense any longer.
Damn emotional show.
Dmitry and Ashlee - Wow. Ashlee was good, but if Dmitry could never do hip hop again, that would be grand. I like the close-ups where he was all hot and intense. That's it. But he's so rawr. Too bad the show's not called So You Think You Can Melt Stone With Your Eyes. Then he wins. It was no surprise that she got booted. Seeing the competition, she was my vote before they ever danced on Wednesday, much less Thursday. But her solo was good - she went out with a bang.
Alison and Ivan - That was amazing. Mary wasn't the only one crying. At least she can blame her drunkenness. I have no excuse. Except that they were amazing.
Natalie and Musa - This is the first time that I've been 'eh' about them. Sad to see Musa go, but out of those three boys, he was the one I would have picked, too.
Heidi and Ryan - Heidi was great. And I'm so glad that Nigel said what he did about Ryan's technique, because it was fantastic for having never done the cha cha before. At that learning rate, give him another day of practice, and he would have been on Heidi's level. He really impressed me this week.
Martha and Travis - It wasn't bad for a foxtrot. But foxtrot = yawn to me. So much so that I can't think of anything else to say. Except that his Mommy Love was the sweetest thing. Damn...emotional...
Donyelle and Benji!!! - Cute! Cute! He looked like Alfalfa. *adores* And I am so attached to her. I hope that she gets to rest her foot a little so that she doesn't have to drop out. Because I really think that she could win, all other things staying level. She's definitely my pick of the girls.

Date: 2006-07-14 03:23 pm (UTC)They girls' dismissal was easier. I think Ashlee was meant to go last week -- the girl who was cut was really talented. Ashlee was cute, but there are stronger girls in the competition.
Benji and Donyelle didn't blow me away this week -- her costume was hideous. I still really like them, though. And I love Heidi.
