Speaking of beautiful things -
Tom Welling broke me this week. That man is too pretty for words. No matter how much Clark deserves it sometimes, he should not be made sad. Not ever. Seriously, I can't take it.
It was sweet of Lex to ask how Clark is doing. It was asshatty of Clark to not give Lex the opportunity to console him. It was a tragedy to humanity that I was not given the opportunity to videotape such a consoling.
I loved the Chlark! The faux mugging scene was hilarious. I love how Clark is giving Chloe tips on how to be more dramatic. So...many...jokes...
It's funny how Clark remembers his dad as always knowing the right thing to say and always keeping him from going over the edge. And by funny, I mean wrong.
Acuvue to the rescue?!? Wow. That was the most shameless of the shameless plugs. Pete would be proud.
The scene with Lionel and Clark made me cackle. Thank you..."son?" Both of them standing at weird angles. Awk-ward.
Speaking of Lionel, my favorite quote of the night - "Jonathan and I let politics and money come between us." Yeah. That was all that was keeping you from having a good relationship with Bo Kent. I'm not sure that politics and money were the things that came between them so much as they were the things upon which every interaction that they ever had was based. If it weren't for politics and money, there would have been no relationship. Heh. This quote also made my mind wander into dirty-wrong-bad territory, considering a relationship between Jonathan and Lionel. Excuse me - must go shower now.
Beauty and the Geek = love
Reactions:
- Oh, Chris. You only think dating is overrated because you suck at it. Silly rabbit.
- Josh has a man purse! And he called it a murse! *loves*
- I liked Josh's hair better before they "fixed" it. *pouts*
- Heh. They thought waxing would be "interesting." That's a nice euphemism.
- Whoa. Wes is hot. And with his new look comes a great flirtatiousness. I loved when Sarah was giving him tips, and he flirtily (word? yes? no?) said, "Thank you, Sarah." I know it doesn't look flirty in print, but trust me, it was adorable.
- Josh! "I look so good, I'd hook up with myself." *cuddles*
- Chris - "I'm pretty good at charming girls." Sure. If, by "charm," you mean piss off, weird out, and completely alienate.
- Case in point - he told one of the girls he was speed dating that he a) didn't like Tristan and b) thinks she's stupid, knowing that she was listening. Yeah, that's real charming. Ass. And his excuse? "There aren't many guys who haven't said something stupid at one point or another." The difference is that most guys occasionally say something bright every once in a while, though.
- Sarah and Wes won me over. They're my favorite team. They are the only ones who have managed to make their decision on whom to send to the challenge without badmouthing anyone. Josh is still my favorite candidate overall, though. I just wish he wasn't teamed up with Cher.
- So Josh likes the cheering and saying how cute he is? I volunteer. I'll cheer and say how cute he is. *cheers* "So cute!"
I had so much entertainment tonight at the desk. Liz and Maggie stuck around until 3-ish. Lots of people dropped by. Tim even fed me. My job rules.
Have a good weekend, all!

Date: 2006-02-03 01:37 pm (UTC)I think Tristan purposely lost just to get away from him! LOL.
I always knew Wes would be hot. He always had a bit of the Jared Padeleki in him, if you can consider Padeleki hot.
And I agree, I liked Josh better before. His old look perfectly suited his film major aspects. Now he looks too normal.
And wow, Joe still isn't great looking but he made a huge, huge improvement.
I can't wait till next week. Stripping geeks! Whoo!
