On Friday night, I had dinner with the friends at Black-eyed Pea. Dinner with friends - good. Black-eyed Pea - eh.

Then, I went to see Jarhead with a couple of the RAs. I highly recommend this movie.

Don't ask me what it was about. Plot - who knows? Cultural significance - couldn't tell ya. Meaningful - who cares?

The only thing you need to know - it features Jake Gyllenhaal in varying degrees of undress.

I won't give away any details, because I know how you hate spoilers.

But I will say this:

1. It turns out, cleanliness is next to godliness.
2. The slashiest show that there ever was has got nothing on the USMC.
3. Jake + Santa hat = Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night

I may have to use my Jake icons for the remainder of the week in celebration of The Sexy that is He.

Yeah, now that the blood has returned to my head, I'm recalling that there actually was plot and good cinematography and other things besides the hotness.

But the hotness is still my favorite part. :)
