Too sensational to be managed

I am happy to report that these pants I'm wearing have recently become huge on me. I discovered this when I got up to let the Grab-and-Go guy (breakfast cart, perverts) in and almost lost them. That could have been awkward. Good thing I was behind the desk.

I would put my ticker up for NaNoWriMo, but I've only written 546 words, so it would be more pathetic than anything else. Instead of writing, I've been reading; I finished two more books.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling - Not much to say. I still like it. Fandomness has infected me, though. I kept trying to slash Harry and Draco. I feel dirty.

The Pleasure of My Company by Steve Martin - Great book. You should all read it. You should also imagine the text in Steve Martin's voice as you read. It makes it even funnier. I can't wait to read Shopgirl.

As I am wont to do with all my favorite books that I read, here are some of my favorite quotes:

Time for shopping for new pants....hey did I tell you I lucked into a sale at Wal-mart the other day? I don't really buy clothes there but I walked past a rack and it said Clearance so I looked at it and sure enough only two pairs on the whole rack in my size...but they are good Lee rider jeans with the stretch fabric no less for $3 a pair!!

I want to shop for new pants. *sigh* But I don't have a size just yet--still changing shape after the baby.......the early maternity pants are too big, my regular pants still too small in some spots (and too big in others--can't they just work together to be just right all over?). ah, well.

I bet I have pants you could wear. I was checking my closet the other day, and I have everything from a size 8 to a size 20 in there. Why do I keep such a wide variety of pants? What a weird thing to collect.

not weird--you're female :p I have quite a range of sizes too. The small ones you hang onto just in case you lose some weight and need them. The large ones you keep in case you're bloated or ate too much chocolate and need them. And the in-betweens? You have to have them so you can wear them, of course! :p
