aelita (who, btw, I'm forever indebted to for being my wisened lj sage)
I write like a girl.
Watched the season premiere of Everwood last night. Just when I thought that it couldn't get sadder....Damn. Depressing. Show.
And something occurred to me. For all my bitching about how they (the ominous They...the powers that be...the Gatekeepers...The Hoarde of Ecumenical Yodelers) messed up my schedule by switching all my shows around....moving Smallville to Wednesdays...moving Boston Public to Fridays...a new and wonderful thought came to mind. I now can record (because I have to rely on the VCR...I'm too poor for TiVo...and I work at night....so I can't switch tapes between shows...) Everwood, Gilmore Girls, Smallville, and Boston Public on their very own tapes. So I can watch 6 hours in a row of the one show I'm in the mood for rather than having to fast forward. It's as if they know me. OK, so it's not a big deal, and probably not worth all the lj space I've now devoted to it, but I'm easily excited these days.
Anyway...
I guess I should at least pretend to be listening to the librarian give her spiel (this makes the fifth time for me...one more to go). Since I'm the teacher and all, and supposed to be setting the example (heh, heh. She said "straddled." I'm such a child). I'll tell you one thing - I can find anything in this library now.
