Not complaining

OK, so one of my New Year's resolutions was to complain less about work.

*blank stare*

So I won't complain. I'll just make the very general observation that perhaps the announcement that we're adding another day to make up for our snow day should come prior to the day before finals. Otherwise, one should not be surprised when mass cackling and words like "bullshit" shoot through the office air.

Needless to say, I'm giving the final today, as scheduled. I will physically be on campus tomorrow, but I'm not promising anything more.

That still means I can't sleep in tomorrow.

But I'm not complaining.

Heh. I actually came back into work and sat in the classroom and read House of Leaves all morning. A couple of students came to find out their final grades, but otherwise, it was just me and a cup of coffee. Good times.
