Media blitz

I usually am not a Korn fan, and I don't know if it was election aftermath or just fond memories of the original version, but I really like their cover of Another Brick in the Wall. I heard it last night on the way home from Dallas. Two thumbs up.
And now, for your reading pleasure...
Nothing cheers a girl up faster after enduring a day of ridicule and smug gloating than turning on the television and seeing Alton Brown dressed up as Colonel Bob Boatwright and sporting a shamelessly exaggerated Southern drawl. He has a nice grasp of Southern euphemisms - I wonder where he grew up? *peers expectantly at

Now I want homemade biscuits. I wonder if my mom would drive four hours to make me some...
Ma Mae is the cutest.
OK, almost all Lukisms, interspersed with bouts of Logan love. And, um, Mom and Dad Gilmore are evil.
"See, this is what causes peasants to revolt. This is how heads end up on pikes."
"She was admiring its vintage feel."
"I wanted beer; she was considerate enough to anticipate that that might be the case."
"We don't serve roadkill at our place."
"Rustic really did sound like 'crap pile' that time."
[I want Logan to buy me pretty dresses and wait in a tux while I change into them.]
"You grab the club, whack the ball - I'll fake it."
*muttering to the caddy* (so cute, btw) "Give me a hobby - quick!"
And my personal favorite, although it's the least intelligible - "Dick, Dick guy, science fiction guy, Dick something, something Dick." heh. He said "Dick." A lot. *is twelve*
[Purrr....Logan getting all close to Rory and saying, "People can live a hundred years without really living for a minute. You climb up here with me, and it'll be one less minute you haven't lived." Rawr. I may have to start doing Loganisms, too. He's intense and yummy.]
"And he wants to shave me."
[I want him to call me Ace.]
"I sort of implied that I'm fond of the Greeks."
Smallville Jinx:
I want Pretty Import Boy to kiss Lex's finger and make it better. Or...maybe Lex can just suck on it himself. That works for me, too. Damn, he's pretty.
Clark's own special brand of self-mutilation freaked me out a bit.
Chloe said "self-flogging." Heh.
Gee, I wonder who their sponsors are? I can practically smell the Old Spice in the air.
I liked Clark's standing up to Bo Kent.
Did we actually find out who was in the room that Lex showed Whathisname? Feel free to spoil me. Feel free not to read others' comments if you don't want to be spoiled.
I love it when Lex is a smartass about the anvil cheese. "So today, I'm taking the role of the despicable, untrustworthy friend, and, as usual, our hero is making the fatal flaw of jumping to conclusions." I love his I've-got-a-secret-and-wouldn't-you-like-to-know-you-secretive-bastard smirk.
Not one of my favorite eps, but enough to get the fix.
In the non-spoilery realm, I love Jack and Bobby. I actually cried during it last night (have I mentioned how taxing yesterday was?). The mom is my hero. I want to be her.
