coffeesnob318: (cool boyfriend Lex by lydkami)

Aw...the Flash is cute when he's not trying to be a punk. I was a little disappointed when he spoke and it was not MR's voice, though. I actually yelled at the TV, "No, no, no! That's all wrong!" I think a lot of my Flash/Clark fantasies died with this ep. That's not to say that I didn't like it - he just seemed more like that yippy little dog in the cartoon, all jumping around the big dog, than anything...else. I do like his use of "big cow eyes." That won him some points with me. I hope that his flirting gets better with age.

I'm glad to see that the tables have turned back - Bo is back to warning Clark about Lex, and Clark is back to defending him. The world makes sense again.

It was so lovely to hear Lana and Jason slurping before the camera finally got over to them. I half-expected to see someone eating ribs. I like how Lana came clean after pulling the Clark-ish "I love you, but I can tell you nothing" routine earlier in the ep. They're determined to make me love her.

Flash's place looked a little like Dark Clarkie's old pad. Is that where all superheroes go to be bad? Way to break and enter, Clark. These humans with their silly laws...

The Kents' flirting was weird to me, all this talk of sweating and hoses...that was an image that I didn't need.

I expected Fabio to burst in any moment. So many lines to play with! Lex is looking for you. You should drop by the mansion. Lex talking about getting the collector drunk so he could have his way. Telling Clark he was "still interested, just not obsessed." *snickers* A little too late for a booty, I mean, social call. Someone is watching over you (I swear I saw his hair blow in the breeze when he said that - it could happen - those castles are drafty). Then Lex said "penetrate" and I got distracted, but not so much that I missed him inviting Clark to "roll up our sleeves," accompanied by The Flirt Smirk. So that's what the kids are calling it these days....

All of it made me almost forget how very bad a poker face Clark has. I get that he lied to protect his new little sidekick/boytoy. But *pouts* Lex should be a priority.

Have I said how much I love Badass!Lex? Because I do. Madly and deeply. "Our thief is going to learn that there's nowhere on earth he can run from Lex Luthor." Rawr. Nice. Gave me a little chill. Let's have more of that. And more of him kicking people's asses...only without the getting knocked out himself part. I was so happy - "Yeah! Give it to him, Lex! And...then...he's...down..." Alas, such short-lived victory.

I'm torn between two favorite lines, both delivered by Flash. I adored this one, for obvious reasons - "There's no way you get that rich playing it straight." Heh. But I also liked this one - "We could start, like, a club, or a league or something." I knew that they would not fail to give me an ultra-cheesy JL reference. I do love the cheese.

I can't be disappointed these days. I just love this show. Two thumbs up.

And I, along with you, waited for the cheese also. Loved both those lines by the Flash. I especially loved the running scene at the end where he blew Clark away.
As for Jonathon being back to his old self. I was grateful for that. It just sounds too weird when he's defending Lex. Martha defending Lex is normal. But Johnathon, not so much. This epi really made me like SV again. This first couple of eppie's sucked ass, but this one, definitely caught my interest. And with next week's topic, hah, how could I not watch that. *sits patiently and waits for some incest between Lionel!Clark and Martha*

Sick, isn't it?

Wrong Flash. *g* The Flash in the cartoon is Wally West. This one is (cannonically, though cannonically he isn't even born yet, damn you Smallville for making my brain hurt) Wally West's cousin. So it's ok that he doesn't speak with Michael's voice. *g* (Me? Obsessive? Nah!)

Well, DC Universe speaking there were... *blinks* at least three so far? Jay Garrick the original golden age Flash. Barry Allen the more known and the one who created the famous Flash costume. And all time favorite Wally West, who used to be Kid Flash and Barry Allen's sidekick until Barry died. Which is when he took over the Flash mantle, at home and in JLA, and became the strongest, fastest speedster so far.

Bart Allen is actually Barry Allen's grandson, born in 30 century. Long story short, he was brought to the 20 century and became Impulse. A few months ago he went through some rough stuff and became Kid Flash.

There was also a number of other speedsters, but not Flashes.

*blinks* Like I said. Me? Obsessive?

I know! I cannot wait for next week. Clark bad is very, very good (at least, when I'm not hiding behind my fingers from being embarrassed for him), but Clark as bad as Lionel should be terrific!

OK, I'll go along with that. Smallville's obsessed with the cousins, isn't it?

*massages your brain*

if cannonnically isn't a word, you should get a medal. you made up a word that doesn't exist and used it in a sentence i understood. and there are some words in the webster's you could throw at me all day and i'd still not get em.
