Ah, TV. I enjoyed the shows last night.

Disappointed with the amount of Lukisms, though. The best I can come up with is "Don't tell her I'm naked - I'm not naked!!!" and "The coffee will be ready in a minute" (which, for obvious reasons, is my personal favorite). Maybe they'll be more next week.

Poor Taylor. I'm with him on the recall. I give Jackson one day to get sick of being bugged and force the recall himself.

The WB is determined to break me. They're constantly looking to reach new heights of loveliness. That new boy on the tree show is pretty. A bit of a jackass and sooo not my type, but pretty, and, let's not forget, completely naked in his first scene. That's good enough for me (I suppose that, contrary to popular belief, I've easy to please). Two thumbs up. Well done, WB. Well done.

I'm happy to see Dan being more his old self. He still creeps me out a bit, but not as much.

My favorite new character is the professor. Rawr. He is just my type. I like them scruffy (although my official position is that I'd like to take a razor to his head just once...just to see...it can grow back...). Nice voice, too. I think she should visit his office to discuss extra credit. Maybe he could be an investor in her night club.

I had my first panic attack over NaNoWriMo last night. It's way too early for this! I haven't even started writing yet! *frets* I really enjoy writing. Really. You're not really having fun until you require a sedative, right? *frets again*

I hope the students are prepared to speak today. If this afternoon is as bad as Monday afternoon, there may be carnage. In my 2:00 class, only two of the six scheduled to speak even bothered to show up. Gremlins.

It was wonderful. Getting a nice-looking man who makes coffee for a living to greet me with those words every morning is just about all I need. :)

Yeah. You'll have to learn to like coffee, though.... :)

The tree show?

You know, only about 50% of my class shows up each week. But for once in my life, I see that as a good thing.

I usually don't mind, as long as they don't come up to me later and ask, "What did I miss?" I hate that, and usually respond with "class." But when they have something due, they should show up or drop. All or nothing. Don't make up an excuse; don't ask for forgiveness; don't expect a handout. Is that so much to ask, that they be just as anal as I am? :)

Oh, and "the tree show" is what one of my students called One Tree Hill when he couldn't think of the real name. I think I like The Tree Show better, so I adopted it. tee hee

See, I have too many of them to keep track of that way. And they realize that. It works out quite well, let me tell you.

The Tree Show. So if a tree falls in the forest during that show, does it make a sound?

hee hee. Probably. Everything on that show makes a sound. They all have a huge difficulty with shutting up.

Speaking of daft students, a girl in my writing class was supposed to hand in her essay for us to read for workshopping on Thursday, and she didn't have it. When the prof asked her where it was she just shrugged and said she didn't have it. The prof gave her the look of death and the git just blankly looked at her! The prof then said, "Well then I guess you won't be getting it workshopped." ie)You've sooo failed. That chick should drop the class. She's sooo never prepared. Gads, she was warned this was a hard class. And this prof has zero tolerance for dumbasses.

What an idiot. It makes me wonder how low admissions standards can possibly be. A well-trained monkey could do better than that!
