Loving the students

One of my students made us agua de horchata (cold rice drink). Made me think of Hope. I miss Hope.

The last two speeches we had in this last class were over who is the best/hottest actor. One student argued Brad Pitt; the other argued Johnny Depp. There were pictures. The student who argued Brad Pitt even made me a copy to take home as my very own. Excellent. I think they might be playing to a particular audience member, don't you? It's so nice to know they listen. :)

I was completely sold on Brad Pitt, then the second girl handed me her outline, complete with pictures of Johnny Depp, and I said, "ooh...tough call." The great thing about being the teacher is that I don't have to choose - I can love them both. :)

Heh, heh. Funny you should mention it. They said that they thought about it, but then decided that whoever argued in favor of The Wonder That Is Michael Rosenbaum would have an unfair advantage.
