It seems as if all of my posts lately are "Whee!! I'm moving!" But, of course, this is my life, so this is what you get. :)

This week is The Week. I am pretty much packed to the brim and have started construction on The Ramp. The Ramp is the brainchild of my friend Karla who used one to move out of her third story apartment (no elevators). She and her roommate built a ramp out of extra boxes and just slid all the other boxes (Grandma's china included - nothing broken) down said ramp. This is the simplest, yet most glorious idea. Ever. I can't wait to test mine out.

Tomorrow - getting the key!!

Thursday - moving boxes and small-ish stuff.

Friday night - moving larger stuff.

Saturday - The Parents bring the piano, desk, dresser and bookshelf down.

Saturday night - first night sleeping in the new place. Unless I get impatient and camp out Thursday or Friday night.

We will wait until next weekend to move Margat's stuff out, and then she and Jeff and Micah *sobs* are moving back to Arizona. They both have jobs waiting there, and Margat's just not having any luck finding one here. gradeafan and sinisterf, take care of them!

Yay! Friends moving back...they will be cordially invited to the Smallville Premier Party I'm planning...errr....hint--hint....it would sure be nice to have both half of our brain in the same room for it....

Oh and the moving ramp! What a great idea! Be sure to let us know how it goes....

The ramp worked like a dream. We sent a couple of boxes tumbling when they got caught on the duct tape, but Karla, Tammy, and I packed all of our cars to the brim in just half an hour, thanks to the ramp. Plus it was fun. :)

*sniff* I want to watch the season premiere with you all! Maybe I can swing it. I doubt it, since it's in the middle of the week, but I'll see. Maybe they have a whole lot of group meetings that week.

I'm completely moved and settled. I just have to clean the old place.

I'm loving the new place. I haven't slept much, just because I'm excited. My sister, her roommate, and I are buying draperies today.
