After a great weekend, in which I rested and got to hang out with [livejournal.com profile] ravenluvslex (and, thus, got to watch That Scene on the Season 2 dvd over and over again...and then again in slow mo, which actually made it even better), I am back at work after my glorious hiatus. Six o'clock came early this morning.

Angela is accompanying me on my trek today. She sat through both my classes this morning, and, lucky girl, she gets to hear basically the same spiel twice tonight. We had lunch at the Record Grill, and I hadn't been in a while, so that was fun. She may be regretting committing to the whole day, though. I'll ask her when she wakes up from her nap. I think she went down the hall to find a couch.

I want a nap. My body revolted when I tried to go to sleep at 11:45 last night. "The night is young," it cried. Three hours later (or close to that...3:06 was the last time I remember seeing), I finally drifted off to sleep. I'm willing to wager that I don't have that problem tonight.

Once I get the sleep pattern down, though, this schedule isn't going to be as rough as it seemed. *hopes and prays*

This is going to sound way sick, but I wish I had your job!

The schedule is great during long semesters, but this leaving the house at 7 am and not getting home until 10:30 or 11:00 at night business is for the birds. Actually, just the 7 am part is bad enough. 7 am is wrong. Just...wrong.

it's not 7am's fault, The Sun is wrong!

The sun is wrong. But even if the sun wasn't out, 7 am is still too early to be afoot.

No much, if I remember summer school salary disbursements. And I ought to, I used to have to work on that payroll.
