Whoosh

If my life right now made a sound, that's the sound it would make. Whoosh. But not in a bad way. It's actually nice.

Final call - if you have not either filled out my poll or emailed me your address and you would like to receive a card and/or various other goodies (list all of the following that you like - chocolate, coconut, pecans, peanut butter, coffee, tea), please email your snail mail address to coff_e_snob@yahoo.com. If you're not sure whether you've left it or not, go ahead and send it - I'd rather have it twice than not at all. I'd prefer that you not reply and leave it here because my lj is public and who knows what crazed weirdos lurk here. Well, other than the normal crazed weirdos (I swear I did not look anywhere near your direction, mouse... :) ).

I should get all that stuff out this week, but don't hold your breath. Not that you would, but anyway. I can't believe I'm actually getting this done before New Years! *does a little dance in celebration of herself*

I've been quite productive today. I bought Bock's present, which means I'm officially finished with my "absolutely necessary" Christmas shopping list, and, I'm happy to report, still have a few dollars left over for a few extra stocking stuffers! I also went to buy more espresso beans (this covering them in chocolate thing is getting out of hand...I think I may have found a new hobby). Ran other errands, came to school, and I have an hour to kill until the final exam.

Note to self - next time you buy olive oil out of the tap at Cupboard, tape the container shut. No one wants coffee that tastes like olive oil. Nor do they want to ride in a car that smells like it.

Last. Class. Of. The. Semester. Tonight. I cannot tell you how elated I am. I will turn grades in tomorrow morning, and enjoy the weekend before the minimester starts up on Monday. I have a feeling this holiday group is going to be high maintenance. Three of them have already emailed me with "I have to miss this day - what will I miss/how will that affect me" questions. I could understand (and would appreciate the heads up) if it was the first day of class that they had to miss, but couldn't the rest wait to bombard me until Monday? Pretty please?

Hope all of you have a great evening!

You know sharing the brain may be good for both of us...because I'm also unbelievably early in my wrapping and sending out of stuff too...

Thanks! I've decided that today is "stay in my bathrobe and feast on chocolate covered espresso beans" day. So maybe I turn grades in tomorrow...

Nothing like dragging it out. If they wanted to be really helpful, they could arrange it so that I could turn them in online. But that might send the message that we're a real college, and we wouldn't want to do that, now would we?

heh--Miami wouldn't let us turn them in online either. Had to physically walk them to the admin offices and stand there while the ladies checked them over and made sure they were "okay". Apparently we were smart enough to teach the next generation but not to be trusted to fill in the bubbles LOL

You made it! No more classes, no more books, no more -- oh. Never mind.
Anyway, congratulations!

I cannot describe to you how messy it was. It looked like such a small container. :)
