Jul. 18th, 2003 04:33 pmWell, my whining has landed me a life change - I'm picking up a new school in the fall. Yes, I'll still be teaching. Yes, it's still the basic class. No, it's not really mine - I'm just subbing for 6 weeke for someone else. But it's something, and it's in downtown Dallas. I love downtown Dallas. Not going to be loving the commute, but I love the place. And if I don't love it, at least I'll be too busy to complain about it. I'm taking over all 6 of her classes. Add this to the 5 of my own classes that I'm teaching, and we have ourselves a whopping 33 semester hours that I will be teaching for about six weeks. My schedule is going to seem like a breeze after that. So if I disappear for 6 weeks, starting in late August, you know where I am.
In other news, today has been bliss. I woke up at 9:30 and leisurely got out of bed. I checked email. I ate a barbeque sandwich, did a little laundry, and went to the gym at a time when it wasn't busy. In a little while, I'm going to watch a movie with Michelle, eat popcorn (the best food on the planet), and then shower just in time to go to a pedicure party this evening. Every day should be like this one.
