To sleep, perchance to dream?
Nov. 25th, 2003 04:24 pmAnd not those nice, fluffy bunny dreams, either (although I did have one where the bunny grew fangs...stupid Monty Python...). Dreams where I'm running or falling or being beaten up or betrayed. What the hell? So I'm not sleeping very well these days. Anyone know a good sleep aid?

You're Wonder Woman!
Great Hera! Okay, you knew I had to say that.
Seriously, you might be a little stuck up
sometimes because you think people don't treat
you right. You trust your friends deeply and
you're not selfish. You're protective of people
and especially those you love and cherish.
Which one of the Justice League (cartoon) are you?

Well, it looks like my finals will all be over by Wednesday, December 10! Yea! I can turn grades in and get a pseudo-vacation before the holiday mini-mester starts up. Only five more days of the 7 am course - I think that's what I'm most excited about.
Good questions from
bubbles79 -
1. Who do you think would win in a war between the Smurfs and the Snorks?
I don't know who the Snorks are, but they've got to be tougher than the Smurfs, so I'm going to say Snorks.
2. What's wrong with the world today? Name one thing.
People, particularly leaders, tend to push their own agendas under the guise of goodwill for others. I can understand selfishness - we're all selfish at times - but I draw the line at being dishonest about it.
3. If you had to make everyone's Christmas presents this year, what would you make?
Candy. Martha Washingtons, fudge, chocolate covered espresso beans (although I'm still perfecting that one). It's the only thing that I know how to make that wouldn't make them want to pat my head for effort and say, "Well, isn't that sweet - good try!"
4. What is your most selfish desire?
For my students to have crushes on me. Not that I would act on them - well, most of them - but so I could control them more. Wow, that looks even more evil in print. (secret message to
ravenluvslex - don't be afraid - I'm really quite a nice teacher...)
5. If this were a hiring interview and you were interviewing to be my new best friend, who would you use as references, and what would they say?
Margat, because she's incredibly loyal and she's lived with me, so her word counts twice. She would tell you how easy I am to get along with (unless, of course, I'm "picking a fight," which I would completely deny) and how much strength she drew from me - I think that's the nicest thing I've ever heard her say about me. Excuse me, I think I have something in my eye...
Hope would tell you that I have excellent taste in coffee, movies, and to watch out - I can suck you into any fandom - but that I'm malleable on that front, too (mmm..Amazing Race...*drools*). She would also ask you to tell me to get my butt up to Providence to see her.
Melanie would just tell you that she loves me, after which she would start interviewing you to see if you qualified to be my friend (very protective, that one).
I'd include lj friends, but you could just ask them yourself. :)
I could go on and on, but getting all those people together would only result in embarrassing back-in-the-day stories being told, so I'll stop there.
