There are no words.
OK. Maybe a few.
First and foremost, I'll say it again - Michael Rosenbaum is mad brilliant. We should have this much Lex in every episode.
I loved everyone's secret connections coming to the light. It's fun when the whole cast gets to interact (See? More Lex brings people together!). Except for Pete, of course. Poor Pete. Pete never gets to play with the cool kids. Pete gets left out of everything.
There is something so very wrong about Lex in a pickup truck. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it's wrong.
Um, Lana? If a large animal is freaking out, get the hell out of there! Don't pause to reflect! Most people who have been brought up around horses would have reacted more quickly.
Mmm....Vigilante!Clark.
I love that Magnificent Bastard. He sure does have to say, "Put the gun down, Lex," an awful lot, though. And I'm glad Lex punched him.
Lexy moments that made me want to hug him and kiss it better:
1. Singing "Hush little baby" to Makebelieve Julian.
2. Look of betrayal when he faced the Kents.
3. Freak out in the sweatshop.
4. Feverishly rubbing his neck.
5. Crazy!Lex with a gun - yelling and barking orders - damn, he's sexy!
6. "Maybe I am crazy, Clark....Are you really just gonna let them put me away?"
7. Sitting in the hay in the horse stall.
8. Limping!Lex
9. Having an "OOH, shiny" moment with the rifle in the truck.
10. Staring the MB down and shushing him.
11. "You know I can't take it when he cries, Dad."
12. The resignation with which he said to Clark, "I have to kill you, too."
13. Fearlessly facing off Edge's car.
14. Childlike look of wonder when Clark crushes the car.
15. Look of sad satisfaction at having been right about Clark all along.
16. Telling the doctor about Clark only to look around and see that Clark's no longer there.
17. The Lex Luthor Confused Look of Defeat, tm.
18. The whole straitjacket scene with Johnny Cash singing Hurt in the background.
*feverish...passes out*

Date: 2003-11-20 11:44 am (UTC)Actually, having a minor in equestrian science, I have to say I would have reacted like Lana - simply for the fact that I've never seen a trained horse stomp a person on purpose. What the hell was that animal doing in a public stable??? As a general rule, horses will *not* tramble people. Even when a herd of them are running toward you, they will not knock you down. Falling into a stall should not have set any horse off like that. I wouldn't have scrambled out of the way because I wouldn't have believed something like that could happen. And then I would have just been shocked when it did.

Date: 2003-11-20 01:57 pm (UTC)Yep, Word, Uh-huh, Preach It! But you didn't say a thing about the opening sequence:
Lex ducking and running to avoid bullets...
and let's not forget:
When all else fails, jump out a window, preferably a window with lots of bright colors.

20. "You're all watching me now?!"
21. Him screaming Clark's name like a last desperate hope

GOd yes...it was so sad...I kept thinking "Now this is the part where I bust in Initiative -style and bust him out!" :P
All in all...Crazy Lex=Sexy lex.
