There is actually a book called Everything I Needed to Know about Women I Learned by Reading Twilight: A Vampire's Guide to Eternal Love.

I am horrified.

It's a book for men about how this teen fantasy story can help your marriage. So a healthy marriage can only be had in a *cough*codependent*cough* relationship with the undead?

Or is it just with undead who sparkle?

I doubt quite seriously anyone could learn anything about me (a woman, just to be clear) by reading this book. I am offended on behalf of all grown women who want real relationships with actual humans.

(No offense to any of you who read and liked the books. You know what? I take that back. Go ahead and take offense. Your books are stupid.)

ME TOO!!

I loled my ass off while reading the books and have ranted about Bella before. URGH HATE HER!!! And now they write books about her character? WHAT??!!

If this was an ironic book it would probably be hilarious. :)

I read them and enjoyed to a certain degree, but even I'm horrified and offended by this book.

Thank you for coming out and having the courage to voice what I've been too timid to say. My cousin-in-law is reading the books right now and constantly gushing on Facebook about how good they are.

I want to puke every time she does. I know I'm being a horrible elitist snob here but I have to say I respect her, and anyone else I know who reads them, a little less because of it.

Last night I was talking to a friend who recently gave in and started reading the series. I gave her a little crap for it, of course. Until a few weeks ago, I'd have 3-second desires to see the movie or read the book, until I came across a synopsis that basically killed such desires off. Anyway, said friend tried to use Jane Eyre as leverage - she said she'd try JE again if I read Twilight. Just...can't...NOOOOOOOOO!
