I went to Kansas City to visit friends I've known for awhile and to meet new friends. *waves* I came away with colorful phrases to use on my coworkers and the incredible urge to spend hours at the desk watching youtube videos of Anderson Cooper (freakin' ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

This week is going to be odd. Natalie is at home on bed rest. Carley is back from her dad's. So they are both home during the day when I am sleeping. Nice. Today was not a good sleep day. It will be interesting to see how this goes for the rest of the summer.
This coming weekend, we have Natalie's shower (her doctor okayed it as long as she took it easy) and I am heading to my parents' house. They want to trade in my mom's car, but instead, they are going to trade cars with me and trade mine in. Best news ever. I am excited about having an air conditioner again.
