Delirium! My favorite!

Last night was Shan'tel's Insomniac program. Basically, everyone hung out and ate chips/dip and cookies. And Cheryl brought down Wanda Sykes's book that's based on her standup so I'd have something to read during the wee small hours. The gathering was fun. I haven't slept a lot, so it was a little surreal, but fun.

Amendment - I barely slept at all yesterday. I got horizontal and stared at the ceiling for about four hours yesterday. But very little sleeping was accomplished. What I lack in sleep, however, I make up for in sugar content. Damn those generic vanilla cookies with their creme filling.

That might explain why I can't stop giggling at the book's description of waking up next to a "possum-looking bastard." I mean, just picture it.

*gestures*

OK, so you can't see what I just did, but let me sum up - I imitated a possum, lying on its side.

*blinks*

Trust me. It was hilarious.

*giggles* Tee hee...possum.

What day is it? Only Tuesday!?! What the...?!?

Hopefully, I will not sleep through class tonight. Once, they will probably take it as an accident. Twice, though, and they might start taking it personally.
