Rested

Hello, friends! I am back on the internets after five glorious days of sleep, reading, cleaning (the kind you can get done when you have five days off), and dancing.

I'm giddy with restfulness.

Thursday night, we went to Club One. Michelle's friend Amber went with us. Drinks were expensive but seriously strong. I saw someone I haven't seen in years. I didn't realize how much I've missed seeing him.

Friday night was girls' night. We went for Chinese and then just hung out at Tammy's. Her roommate (well, at least until she moved to China) is back stateside for a couple of months, so we got to see her.

Sunday was fun. I had dinner with Nancy. We never get to just hang out by ourselves, so that was nice. Sunday night was club night. All I have to say that little outing is that it's a big part of why I'm happier than I have been in a long time.

All in all, good times. I didn't even mind coming back to work tonight. It's been a long time since I've actually felt rested.

The club was amazing Sunday night. It was chock full of friends whom I haven't seen or talked to in a while, and some of them were pretty, um, friendly. One in particular didn't get as close as I would have liked, but he was there and I talked to him, and that was enough.

It also helped that I got an amazing amount of sleep this weekend. I'm really quite easy to please.

rest is so good! I think I need a few days to just sleep :p Nothing but glorious sleep.....somehow, though, I don't think Sterling would allow it :p
