Thank you, icalynn, for my virtual birthday balloons! Very sweet!

The birthday was very laidback and fun. I'll get around to personal thank you's and a more detailed account later, but right now, I'm beginning to crash from the sugar high, and I should probably be home in my bed when it happens completely. Michelle and I have already made a date to run tomorrow afternoon to undo a little of the damage that we did today.

The running was painful. It turns out that running on concrete (and wind...and rain...uphill...) is much harder than the track in the gym. But I did a mile. Tomorrow morning is going to be a breeze. Only...without a breeze.

Thanks! And we don't think of it as "forgetting." We call it "prolonging the merriment." My dad did the same thing. I got a very sheepish call this morning. It bothered him more than it bothered me.
