My discussion of this week's Gilmore Girls must start with an apology:

Dear WB Marketing,

I take it back. All those things I said about you being liars and drama queens and trying to make a big deal in previews about something that turned out to be nothing when I watched the episode. I take it all back.

Secret from Luke's past, indeed. That's one hell of a secret. I knew he was doomed for it to be a big one when he chastised Lorelai for keeping secret. I knew it would come back to bite him in the ass.

Luke's a daddy. That's madness.

Lorelai at the door was hilarious. "Land shark. Candy gram." Tee hee.

I need someone who greets me with wine when I walk in the door. Not necessarily a significant other - it can be anyone. I'm not picky.

Rory's home! Rory's home! Rory's home! (that was 3 cheers, in case you missed it) *turns cartwheels* And she camped out at the newpaper until she got some time with the boss and got herself a job! And she just called up the dean...at Yale...and got to go back, just like that. I'm not sure it's that easy to just join up again when you feel like it, but whatever - I'm willing to suspend disbelief. Rory's back, and she's acting like Rory again!

My favorite scene, though, was the one in the airplane. "And you didn't lose me." *sniffs* Sweet.

Yep!! twas good and I'm a happy fangirl...even if I did miss last week. Can't you just see what's gonna happen now when Luke now has another woman to deal with?

I don't normally watch, but I watched last night and loved it. :) I mean, I've seen it before many times, back when SV came on after it or before it or whatever, but I've never really watched it hard-core.

I, too, liked the scene in the airplane. That was great.

Heh. Gilmore Girls was the reason I even started watching Smallville. My roommate and I had lost the remote and couldn't be bothered to get up and change the channel. Yay for laziness!

Luke's daughter is awesome--I hope we'll be seeing more of her. Poor Luke just didn't know what to do with her (you want to go and get some ice cream or something?)

But they'd better not let this storyline come between Luke and Lorelei :|

And its about damn time, Rory! stoopid girl. but now she's getting smart again so its getting better. But did she dump Logan?

I figure it's only a matter of time before she loses Logan. I'm not sure he can keep up with her anymore. He's stuck in his "poor me, my future is sure but set for me" mode. I think that's what turned me off him, seeing more of that. At any rate, she's beyond him now. I hope she doesn't start dating Jess again. I might have to throw things.

I liked Luke's daughter a lot, too. I think she'll get along great with Lorelei and Rory. Luke will definitely have his hands full.

I really think Rory needs to not date anyone right now. She needs to figure out who she is and she can't do that if she's playing girlfriend to some guy. And when she does figure out who she is, she'll get smart and date marty :p

I dunno, I like Marty. He doesn't seem all that boring to me. but then again, we expect drama from rory's relationships so perhaps marty isn't the best choice :p

I really need to start proofreading stuff. I've gotten into this awful habit of thinking "eh they get the point". On LJ this is simply anoying/amusing for others, at work it's just bad.
