The same thing I do every Tuesday night...

Boston Legal:
Holy crap. She killed him. I had Shore-isms, but they've all been outdone by that sweet, white-haired lady killing that little elfin man with his own skillet.
Gilmore Girls:
I have seen my future, and it is Lorelai Gilmore. All those tapes. She was going through boxes, and I said (yes, out loud. What?), "What you need is a shelf. Then you could store them all, but in a neat, non-boxy sort of way." You see, my dad gave up trying to get me to release all my chronicles of Ally McBeal, Boston Public, Smallville, etc. by just building me a custom shelf to house all of them. The sheer volume of TV on those tapes is shocking. I have Barbara Walters' interview of Monica Lewinsky. I have Stanley Cup finals. I inexplicably but unashamedly covet her tape of that Rosie-on-the-bus movie.
The characters had really great lines tonight. I celebrate with multiple isms.
Sukisms - "I christen these vegetables sucky."
"Why aren't you renouncing Satan?"
The brother - "Satan can kiss my ass."
Loganism - "Anything's good in a puff." (is it just me, or does everything he say sound dirty?)
Kirkism - "There's a bit of Garbo in her."
Michelism - "As cheap as tan pantyhose with white sandals."
Lorelaisms - "Tom Cruise in his underwear makes me want to barf." (my personal favorite of the night)
- "You know - it's all true. I'm a horndog."
Lukisms - "Suki! Stop screaming, 'It's your butt!' People are eating."
"Me and my butt are staying out of it."
Prepare for ranting: I despise Socialite!Rory. I don't mind schmoozing in general (although she could take some lessons from Logan on how to reduce the syrup level a bit), but it's just not Rory. And I want her to tell him it's not fine when it's clearly not fine. I want her to grow up, not regress. Make your own damn coffee, you pretentious snot!
Snarkastic. Heh. Excellent.
The christening was odd. Wow. They really did name her all those names. I especially liked the part where Lorelai and Rory took the babies out with them when they fought. I laughed and laughed. And I would like to take this moment to thank Margat and Jeff publicly for not making me go through something like that.
Can I spend the weekend in New York with Logan? Pretty please?
Supernatural:
Gotta love any show that starts off with a body shot like that. Nice.
I've said it before (I think. Or I read it before and meant to agree.) - they do the brother thing really well. Teasing each other, bickering, wiping sulfur residue from the demon on each other's clothes...ah, family.
I'm really glad that I work nights, and that the building is well lit. This show spooks me, and I like it. A cup with ice was sitting on the coffee table, and the ice made noise as it settled; I jumped. Perhaps less sugar in my diet would be a good choice.
I'll have to make sure and tell Sam to keep House until Friday so I can see it. Even old episodes are new to me.

Date: 2005-10-05 11:56 am (UTC)gg-i was glad to see some lorelai/rory interaction, but i'm still not happy with logan. one second i like him and the next i don't. poor milk maid. :(
and i was cracking up as suki explained the whole butt thing. lol.
sn-mmmm, pretty men. jensen did a beautiful job acting scared to fly. it was perfect. reminds me of me :). i liked the eppie, liked that their dad was mentioned, nice to see that some of the writers for the WB do know the word continuity.
and yes, they do a great job playing brothers. that wiping the stuff off on sam was hilarious.

Date: 2005-10-05 01:15 pm (UTC)Rory is driving me crazy--grow a brain of your own, dammit!
But I missed the middle of Gilmore Girls :( My husband called me out to listen to his mother tell me what she and Ana decided Janie should do--without ever consulting Janie about it all. And now she's upset that Janie won't do what they decided she should do..........I have a running drama of my very own......
