Smallville - my drug of choice

coffeesnob318I can't wait to hear what you thought about last night's episode, but for now - here are my many favorite memorable moments. Lex is better than caffeine.
(All non-Lex moments are to be considered mere fluff, and thus are noted in parentheses)
- Quasi-Matrix Lex in the glasses at the beginning. Rawr.
- Aw! Eager Lex who just can't wait to show Clark what he's working on (followed by Eager Clark, excited to go "check out the lab with Lex." *snickers*)
- That Evil Lex is one smooth operator. Heh. Now try getting that song out of your head.
- His very intense look at Chloe as he left the hospital. And I say it again - Rawr.
- With Dad - "You must be rubbing off on me," and "I'm truly grateful for everything." Ew, but *snickers anyway*
- "Ew" aside, it's sweet that there's a part of Lex that really wants to believe his dad turned over a new leaf.
- Lex being roughed up at the hands of...Lex. So conflicted, and it feels so good. I've had dreams like this...
- Woobie Lex by the pole, looking up at Evil Lex.
- MR, with tears in his eyes, a few seconds later. Damn, I love that man.
- Cruelly laughing at himself. So wrong, and yet so hot.
- "It's good to be the king."
(Chloe, after the tapping into the security cameras - "which, as far as you know, I've never hacked into." Lol! I love the new Clark/Chloe, btw. It's real.)
- "My bad." ?!?!?!? lol! Lex said, "My bad!" Cannot. Breathe. Laughing. Too. Hard.
- "Oh...him," with utter contempt. Nice.
- All in black, with his shirt open. Excuse me while I turn into a quivering mass of goo.
(I do not buy for a second that Lana would push Lex away. Is she mad?)
- "Well, I do like them feisty."
- "Think about it...I know I will..." Evil Lex is a dirty, dirty boy.
- Oh, the fencing. The glorious fencing. Complete with winning and a slap on the ass.
(I do not like the MB whiny. No more of that. Ever.)
- Oh, the Luthor fight. Ruthless Lex. Nice Princess Bride moment with the face-slashing, too.
- "You know me better than anyone." Heh. *is twelve*
(for the love of Pete, just tell Chloe, Clark!)
- Putting aside my difficulties with the idea that Lex didn't know Clark was Super Alien Freak (tm), I do like the "very....interesting..." look at the end of the Man of Steel scene.
(Ha! Chloe moved Clark's hand away when he pushed her hair aside. I love Chloe.)
- Upon being told that the real Lex would never kill them - "You're probably right...but he's thought about it."
- "Don't be modest, Clark - you're much more than that," followed by a nice little trip down Memory Lane.
- I've got the brains; you've got the looks; let's make lots of money...(hey, at least you aren't singing "Smooth Operator" anymore)
- "...torture him when I'm feeling blue..."
- Lex standing in the loft, looking down on Clark.
- My favorite line of the episode - "Talk some sense into him before something unfortunate happens." *bang* "Like that." I bet even Box-of-Puppies Lex would have enjoyed that. Why, Lex, how very Malkovich of you.
- "I am the villain of the story." Nice shot...so pretty. *gurgles*
- "The hero comes to the rescue - how predictable is that?!" Say what you want about Lex going evil - he's damn funny.
- "I want you to remember this day, Clark. I want you to remember that, despite all your amazing powers, there was one man that beat you." *drools on keyboard*
- that look after "It's over now."
- Lex is so sexy. New, recombined Lex = Best Lex Ever.
- "Whatever my feelings are..." Blech! My Lex does not have feelings for Lana. *pouts*
- At least Evil Lex brought back the MB. Excellent. Well done, Lex. I missed the MB.
There was a lot that I looked gleefully past (easy to do when one's head is reeling), but I think that the selective amnesia bit is played out. They need to have an episode where everyone remembers everything they've ever done when they were in an altered state. I'll bring the popcorn.
Oh, and MR rules all.
I think I'm just going to watch this episode again and skip the one next week.
