Smallville
Mar. 3rd, 2005 04:59 pmDid we stumble into a time warp or something? Since when are Lex and Clark all buddy-buddy and hanging out, having dates cappuccinos together? I know that they still love each other in my imagination, but I haven't actually seen it on the show much lately. Not that I'm complaining. It was nice to see them talking and smiling (Lex has such a beautiful smile - I'm glad to see it's not completely going to waste) and Lex wishing he was part of the family (heh) again. And look how cute they were fighting crime together! Aw! I think I have something in my eye.
Another thing I'm confused about - opening scene. First, someone should tell them that the point of choreographing a scene is so that it does NOT look choreographed. It should be like wearing makeup but still achieving a natural look. We should not see the actress waiting for her cue. Second, I was prepared to be on board with Lucy running from the bad guys...until it was revealed that, to Lucy, he wasn't actually the bad guy. So why was she trying to get away?
All that aside, I enjoyed the episode a lot. I don't have much to say about it, but it was so much better than I was expecting.
And now that we're on hiatus, we get to see Lionel when Lionel was cool and bad take over Clark's body, so yay!
