To-do list

1. Pick up March selection for bluestockings group next month, and The Power of One (by overwhelming recommendation).

2. Buy Tammy's gift for her birthday tomorrow. You know I really love a person when I will brave Guitar Center for her.

3. Practice NOT blinking and staring at students like they're idiots when they ask stupid questions, the answers to which are written on the piece of paper they are holding in their hands!! It's just not nice. It's not their fault that their parents fed them Gerber's when their brains were developing.

4. Research job in Denton (preferably within walking distance from the casa), as gas prices are soon to render my traveling to and from all corners of the Metroplex completely pointless, since apparently I'll soon be paying more in gas and parking to get to my jobs than I earn by working those jobs.

5. Return Grandma's phone call to reassure her that I didn't know the Ft. Worth woman and her son who were killed in Denton, and that the guy who confessed to the crimes is safely behind bars. Leave out the "one psycho down, one million to go" comment.

6. Set aside time in class to teach students that saying, "You can use one page of notes," means exactly "You can use one page of notes." Not two. Not a page and a half. One. Page.

7. Finish The Devil Wears Prada so that I can properly recommend it to all of you.

Yeah, that #4, I think I'll put that one on my to do list too... (though change Denton to Visalia)... as this 40 minute drive to work is killing my finances.
