Just a friendly neighborhood pre-holiday (yes, I know it's early. Yes, I am that anal) poll. Answering this poll in no way obligates you to anything; I just want to see what kind of process I should be planning for inducing my own little brand of holiday cheer. Humor me.

[Poll #371095]

Ah, but there's method in the madness. You see, I want to make the receiver's choose only one of the beverages (because I am not sending out all to everyone. Just...no...). But I'm more than willing to give out all of the candy, so I left it to check as many as you want.

It's good to have people who will eat anything you give them, though. :) And *whispers* they usually get more stuff. This is one situation where it pays to be greedy.

heh...at least YOUR half of the brain is working properly....I'm not really clicking on all cylinders right now...must be because you are using up all the brain power to think....

i am not above drinking hot cocoa.

but i am above eating a nice card, even if it is free.

Heh. I just noticed that my poll asked if you would eat a card. I knew someone would catch that. Oh, well. :)

Good. I need all the brainpower I can muster. I am preparing to write in November, so be prepared to be very absent-minded for the next month and a half or so. You can even use me as an excuse. You'll soon see what a loss I'm at, though - unbridled craziness, coming very soon to an lj entry near you.

See? You knew just what I need....cause right now, things in Chandler are pretty boring....

I would have voted for the "nice card", but I wouldn't eat it even if it were free.

(I also voted for whole bean coffee because dammit, if it's the holidays, I can have an occasional treat)

Is it the holidays yet?
Is it crazy that I still open and sniff the few lovely coffee beans I have left?

Sniff away! I see no crazies here!

Yes...unfortunately, many people have balked at my request that they eat a card. How about if I send you one, and you just read it and smile?

I think that sounds like a terrific idea.

I myself, am searching through every candy store I know for Caramel Coffee Crisps... Sure they have Triple Mocha and French Vanilla, and they even had a short tryout of Orange Creme, but I haven't seen Caramel around. Odd. I'll have to contact them directly. Canadian manufacturers are usually excited when they hear about someone loving the product like you do. Hmmmm, wheels are turning...

Carmel coffee crisps--sound yummy. I haven't seen those.

The poll was fun. Anything with coffee, caramel, and/or english toffee is good!

dude I was just jonzin for a martha washington the other day. How cool you got my subliminal messages.

I picked the ground coffe, though now that I have a job I think it's time I invest in real coffee.

Maybe I can come help you make candy and we stop by the cupboard?

I have this funny feeling... I think I love you.
Not enough to eat a card, but more than enough to eat free chocolate.
You know that feeling?

They are fantastic. Nestle makes them, but you can't get them here. So Karyn sends them to me from Canada.

Yay! Fun! I'll check the calendar. I may be enlisting your help for my open house the weekend before Thanksgiving anyway, so keep that open. We could party and make candy.

And, yes - I think it is high time you invest in real coffee.

I had such a hard time choosing a beverage--they all sound so good. But I figured my coffee grinder needs a special treat :D

As for your oh-so-delicious candy, it really does not matter because it is all so good (although I do reserve the right to beg for Martha Washingtons--even if nothing else comes because you gave it all away to everyone else, I will be truly happy if there is at least the Marthas :p). As for the card, well, I think I'll skip eating that and just look at it, kay?

*sigh* Fine. Don't eat my card. :)

make the card out of chocolate and I'll be happy to eat it ;-) otherwise, I'm uh......erm.......oh! I'm allergic to eating paper. Yep, that's the reason why i can't eat your card!
