*hugs
wingsonwind* Just 'cause.
My stomach hurts. I handed in my letter that explained how the apartment complex was in breach of our contract today and that we would be moving out by August 16. She wasn't pleased, but she just asked us if there was anything she could do to change our minds. Then she said that was all that she needed. The paranoid me (which, let's face it, is a damn big part of me) is just waiting for the call to tell me that they've found a loophole and are going to stick us with all sorts of fees over a technicality.
I don't understand why I'm all worried about this. I usually thrive on conflict.

Date: 2004-07-19 07:38 pm (UTC)It would be unwise of them to push it, because we're not the only ones who are dissatisfied. I know of others who are leaving quietly and not pressing charges when they have a legal right to do so, and the complex doesn't want a class action suit on their hands. So I'm feeling more confident that they wouldn't want to push it and that, if they do, I have enough evidence to fight back. I'm hoping that it doesn't come to that; it would violate my commitment to slothdom. :)
