Your bleeding face
Apr. 7th, 2004 05:25 pmThe side of my face is bleeding. I didn't think I actually cut it when I banged it into the side of the table, but apparently I did. Now I'm singing "Your bleeding face" to the tune of "Your cheating heart." Entertaining for me; irritating and worrisome for others around me. Win-win!
I just ran into two students from last semester yesterday. From the class with The Boy. They sat in his corner...talked to him...perhaps listened as he discussed merits of their fetching substitute teacher... *returns from brief stint in fantasyland* They gave me their email address so that I could keep in touch with them. Huh. Wonder if they keep in touch with him? I mean, they're cool people themselves, but getting back in touch with him on a much less formal basis would be a nice bonus. *recites to self* I will use this information for good and not evil...I will use this information for good and not evil...
The speeches are much better this week. For those of you keeping tabs.
tabs....reminds me of happy hour...which it is...and I'm in the office...*fidgets*
Finally, a few of my favorite tidbits of wisdom to live by (stolen from an email from psycholizard):
1. Don't worry about what people think; they don't do it very
often.
2. It isn't the jeans that make your butt look fat.
3. Not one shred of evidence supports the notion that life is serious.
4. It is easier to get forgiveness than permission (aw...makes me think of hope).
5. No man has ever been shot while doing the dishes.
6. There is always one more imbecile than you counted on.
7. Someone who thinks logically provides a nice contrast to the real world.
8. If you must choose between two evils, choose the one that
you've never tried before.
