Trouble

I'm in trouble.

There's this boy. And if I were to list the five things that melt me the fastest, he would qualify on all five accounts.

-He has the lips - nicely shaped and always active, whether posed in a grin or being "absentmindedly" licked. You know, that thing that Michael Rosenbaum does that drive us crazy. Like that.
-He has the voice - the soft, carnal sound from the back of the throat that involuntarily escapes when you're savoring a particularly exquisite bite of tiramisu, except instead of "mmm..." he uses words. I think. I'm usually too busy reminding myself not to purr audibly.
-He has the gaze - the a-little-too-long-to-just-be-friendly stare. It's charming but also slightly unnerving, because although it's fairly intense, it's just guarded enough to mask whether amusement, disdain, attraction, or "What do I want for lunch?" lies behind it. And it's intelligent enough that I actually care what's behind it.
-He has the hands - strong and busy, a la Lex's relationship with the piano or the file folder in Dr. DropKick's office.
-He has the walk - confident and relaxed. It's more of a saunter, really, with that trace of haughtiness that intrigues me because it means that at least he's not afraid of me.

He has them, and he knows how to use them. I suspect that he's a player, and I have neither the attention span nor the patience for games.

But DAMN.

Trouble.

Mmmmm trouble sound very nice.

You know just cause he's as a player (or so ye suspect) doesn't mean he can't be fun. Maybe he's not good for a real "relationship" thingy, but it might be worth playing along untill your attention span or patience run out.

lol - nope...none of that friends-with-benefits business. I'm looking for one of those crazy relationship things, and I really don't think that's where he is. I would ask, but he'd probably tell me he's there just for the benefits.

heh, heh. Tempting, but I don't do that anymore. Not casually. One of us always gets more attached, and it gets messy. Not worth it.

No. No trouble. Too much of that in the past. I make them work to show themselves qualified now.
