Here in Providence. It's nice. They actually have winter here. Bonus. It's in the 30's today - downright balmy - but it was in the teens yesterday. When I got off the plane, I ran outside and made a big cloud of breath. People looked at me like I was crazy (no comments from the peanut gallery, please).

I read Mr. Maybe on the plane yesterday. I really liked it, as I like most all of the Jane Greens I read, but why did she have to give the great guy character the same name as the crush I'm trying to get over? And why does she have to give him some of the same characteristics - both physical and personality - that the crush has? And why, when I got to Hope and Kalista's apt., is there a menu on the fridge from a restaurant with his name? I swear, the universe is taunting me. Why? Why?!?! Hell.

Sweet mother, I love to fly. We had turbulence as we landed yesterday. Whee! Fun! And I flew in so early that I got to watch the sun rise above the clouds. That was fantastic. Note to self - do not look directly at the sun...very painful. And I flew into Boston, so we got to fly over the bay.

More later on the trip. I need more coffee.

Hey sweetie! Glad you arrived safely. Isn't that horrible.. whenever you're trying not to think of someone and get over them.. they're everywhere. :/

Hey, you're in Providence?! I want to go there!!! Well, Woonsocket actually, but also Providence. I have a diary from the 1860's written by a girl in that area.
