...and this weekend would have been The Perfect Vacation. I relaxed; I read (actually whittled down the number of books I'm currently reading to three); I vegged out with Michelle while she relaxed and read. She cooked for me, and it was wonderful. I even did a couple loads of laundry. Then, the perfect ending - Lex licking whipped cream off his lips. The only thing missing was a lazy afternoon at Brickhaus, sipping their endless cup of coffee - best $2 that I ever spent.

I know, I know. One of these things is not like the others. But I like doing laundry. It has a calming effect on me, like a good red wine. I'm incredibly task-oriented, and laundry has very visible, I've-gotten-something-done results. So doing laundry satisfies my anal need to accomplish something, allowing me to enjoy the rest of my day without the nagging Must...Be...Productive!!! sensation.

See!! It's true!! We really do share a brain...I'm the exact same way about laundry!! I love the before and after how everything is folded neatly and smells good so I know I can say I got something done!!
