Great, exciting news of the day *trumpets sound* - I cut my hair. Yes, after all my random bitching about how unmanageable it has been recently, I have now chopped it down to a cute, utterly controllable length. Yes. You read that right. I chopped it. The girl who has been known to drive 3 1/2 hours - just to get her hair cut - did it herself. I haven't cut my own hair since The Embarrassing Bangs Incident of 1983, so I was a little nervous. But desperate times call for desperate measures, and that shit had to go. Well, 2-3 inches of it, anyway. I am generally pleased with the way it turned out. I expected to cry a little. But no tears. And if I play up the natural curl, it's unevenness is minimal enough that I can think of it as whimsical. Yea!

7. Pets: Tyrone the Playboy Wonder Cat, who terrorizes the neighborhood. Think those new kittens in the bushes are his. No, I'm not going to take them in, because he's not really my cat - he just lets me feed him.

10. Eye color: Green, usually. Blue when I'm, well, blue.
11. How much do you love your job: Well, I don't want to kill anyone today. That's got to count for something, right? No, I like my jobs, as long as I view them as a public service, because I certainly don't get paid for all the work I do.

What does it matter?! It's too late to change it at that point anyway.

Got an email from Mom today. My aunt (her sister) just found out that she has cancer (results from a D & C, so I assume it's cervical). It's in the early stages, but still scary. Please keep her in your prayers (or thoughts, or whatever you do).

I liked Magnetic last night. That's really all I have to say. Except that Stalker is not a pretty color on Clark.
I should actually do some work, I guess.
