I'm back!

I'm back from the parents' house, where I was fed and movied. Yes, they finally joined us in this century and bought a DVD player. Which apparently means that they now have to watch every movie ever put out on DVD. Just a few examples -

- I have now seen all four Harry Potter movies [aside - David Tennnant - in the last one - with the tongue - heh. I know he was supposed to be the bad guy and all, but I don't care. Whoa. Hot.].
- I have also now seen (and partially slept through) March of the Penguins. It was very good. I was just tired. I woke up sporadically to coo at the screen, especially with the babies. I'm afraid, however, that I did not handle the attack of the baby by the ugly predator bird like the adult that I'm told I am. I might have cried. This is why I don't watch animal shows!! Bad things happen in nature.
- My parents finally saw Hitch. They liked it. They did not like watching it with me, I don't think, because I started laughing when I knew a funny part was coming. I couldn't help it. That's a hilarious movie.

So the half-week with the parents was fun, but did not do much for my waistline. I kept up with the running, though. I've already been running twice this week. I'm so proud of me.

All I have to do the rest of the week is drink, watch Mel's cats (hopefully not while I'm drinking), locate Lazarus the fish to make sure he's fed (although maybe Katy's doing that), and be doted on all day Saturday for my birthday (definitely while drinking). Ah, bliss. I love Spring Break. And I'm really ready for summer.

Here's a meme. Try to contain your excitement. I tried not to tag people who had been tagged before, but if you don't want to do it *whispers* you don't have to. No one will ever know. And I won't tell.

Guilt
What is yours?
Explain yourself
Culinary: cheese Man, I loves me some cheese. Cheese rules all.
Literary: Chick lit (not traditional romance novels, but close) Especially Jane Green. She's hilarious. And there are always pretty boys.
Audiovisual: Smallville and Matlock Smallville - What it often lacks in quality, it makes up for in pretty. And Matlock - What can I say? I'm an old woman at heart.
Musical: Cover bands I know, I know. Write something original already. But I like seeing different takes on the same work.
Celebrity: Amanda Bynes Come on. She's adorable. I'd adopt her if I could. But that would be weird.
