2 down, 5 to go
May. 6th, 2004 07:09 pmFinished two of my 7 classes today. So where's the euphoria? I WANT MY EUPHORIA!!!
Happy birthday to
mamakitty!!! I'll see you in a little while (probably before you see this)!
Last night, I babysat Micah for the first time. Margat and Jeff went out, and baby stayed with me. He was completely unimpressed with Not the Mama. They waved goodbye, walked out the door, and he was fine...until he realized that they left without him. Then he was mad. He screamed. A lot. He didn't find me entertaining at all. We played the breadmaker (makes a cool drum - you should try it some time), threw tennis balls about the house, chewed on the phone a little, and went over all the things - remote controls, key chains with highly swallowable parts, pencils/items with pointy ends, paper (which is not a healthy snack), etc. - that he shouldn't play with (note to self - time to baby-proof the apartment). He stopped screaming to breathe, and when he didn't, he erupted into really scary coughing fits. At one point, I was crying a little - which freaked him out more, btw - because I was sad that he was sad. But then Mom came back, and it was all smiles. Like none of it ever happened. My godson hates me. Actually, he likes me a lot...when Mom's around. I told Margat to be very careful on the way home.
