Jul. 10th, 2003 11:49 amI am sooo looking forward to this weekend. Aelora rocks the casbah for going to all this trouble.
I need a new job. Something challenging. I'm not complaining that it's easy; most of the time, that's actually quite nice. I would just like a little break in the monotony of teaching the same classes that I've taught for three years. I try to mix it up by giving different examples and telling different stories, but there's only so much you can do with a basic public speaking class. Maybe I'm just not creative. Or maybe I just need a change.
I have revamped their small group projects. They accused me today of staging things strictly for my own amusement. I didn't deny it....c'mon - give me the few benefits that an educator does have! Leave me that much at least!
This session, I'm sharing an office (aka, tiny hole in the wall) and office hours with a political science instructor. It's good to have face to face conversation at work. He's pretty nice and certainly not at a loss for words, so it should be fairly entertaining.
